Ambreen J. Sheikh, ED.D.
Dr. Sheikh is a Licensed Psychologist and a Health Service Provider. She is licensed by the States of North Carolina and New Jersey. Dr. Sheikh received her doctorate in Counseling Psychology from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. She has been a mental health provider in various settings including a community mental health center, college counseling centers, long-term care facilities and private practice. Dr. Sheikh has 15+ years of experience in working with a wide range of mental health issues. She is skilled in providing treatment for depression, anxiety, trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder, mood disorders, relationship issues, including divorce and separation, grief, loss, self-esteem issues, change of life issues, etc. Dr. Sheikh works with adults, couples, adolescents, and the elderly. Dr. Sheikh is not a Christian Counselor, however, she is a very strong believing Christian and runs her practice based on strong ethical values and principles.
Rosanna Lora, Ph.D.
Dr. Lora is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and a Health Services Provider. She is licensed in North Carolina as well as in New York. Dr. Lora received her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Long Island University – Brooklyn Campus. Her experience in numerous settings such as major hospitals, long term care facilities, and community mental health center has provided Dr. Lora with a wealth of clinical knowledge, including the treatment of children, adolescents, adults, and the geriatric population. She is experienced in individual and family therapy. Dr. Lora is also trained to perform psychological assessments and has run groups for all ages. She is a culturally-competent and bilingual clinician who can offer psychotherapy assessments in Spanish.
Marian Chrissie Griffin, MSW, LCSW
M. Chrissie Griffin is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Ms. Griffin is licensed by the State of North Carolina. Ms. Griffin received her Master’s degree in Social Work from East Carolina University. Ms. Griffin has been working with children and families for over ten years in many different settings including clinics, homes and schools. She has worked in several different county mental health programs and for the past five years has worked with pediatric practices within Wake County providing mental health consultation, assessment, and screening. Areas of special interest include ADHD, anxiety, depression, social skills, adjustment difficulties, sleep concerns, children in foster care, parent training, discipline, and has extensive training in infant/young child mental health issues. Ms. Griffin works with children birth to eighteen years old.
